It all started with an innocent desire to reinvent oneself…
Only envy has a way of turning beauty into something unrecognisable…

The video follows two women and one irreversible exchange. Inspired by 1960s art-house thrillers such as The Face of Another (1966), I wanted to explore the face as a mutable surface — a site of transformation, desire, and control. The surgical act is never purely medical. It is a negotiation of power.

At its core, “Image” is about how we see one another, and how we allow ourselves to be seen. In a world obsessed with exposure and perfection, our image can be a prison, a shield, or a stage.
