During the summer 2012 I photographed members of generation Y at their homes.

Generation Y is the term for people born between early 1980’s and middle 1990’s. The generation is referred to as “net generation”, and its typical features are free values, the demand for flexibility of work life, and constant presence of technology and media in life. Also the unemployment, depression, and indisposition of young people are often mentioned when generation Y is referred to.

By going to people’s homes I wanted to find out what an apartment could tell about its inhabitant, and what the complete work could tell about the generation as a whole.
